Andre Ayew scored against former club Swansea.
Ghanaian international, Andre Dede Ayew netted first West Ham united goal since joining the club. The goal came his way in the 13-minutes of the boxing day match against Swansea city.
Andre Dede Ayew taped the ball into the net with a huge smiles on face. A pass made for Cheikhou Kouyate fell to foot of Ayew and he made no mistake registering his first West Ham United goal and only goal of the season so far.
West Ham continued to dominate the game and made 4-1 at the final whistle. Reid, Antonio, and Andy Carol found themselves on the scoresheet 50, 78, 90 minutes respectively.
Ayew joined West ham from Swansea city with a club record signing fee £20.5 million. He played the derby match in West Ham shirts against the league leaders Chelsea. The game that saw him limped off the pitch and also fail to score against the blues, opposite to what he does when he wone Swansea city’s kits for the first time in the Premier League.
The deputy Blackstars captain’s goal against Swansea, gives Ghana a hope Ayew will be in a good goal scoring form to help the national team excel in the coming up African Cup of Nations tournament dated to commence on 14th January 2017 in Gabon.
