Cristiano Ronaldo has broken another record in Serie A after scoring a stunning goal against Sampdoria. The Portuguese superstar joined the Old Lady for £89m this summer from Real Madrid.

And he has not taken long to make an impact, making the best start to a campaign by any Juventus player for the last 50 years. It was no different today as the 33-year-old got on the scoring board.

Argentine forward Paulo Dybala spreads the ball to Ronaldo across the pitch. The forward controls it first time and runs towards his defender. Ronaldo drives his shot to the bottom right, finding the target easily in 2 minutes.

While giving Juventus the lead, the Portuguese star won his own accolade. With 13 goals, he became the top-scoring player for his country in a single Serie A campaign, beating Rui Barros’ 12 goals in the 1988/89 season.
