Stonebwoy Breaks Silence On UMG Deal
Zylofon Music signee has co-signed a deal with the biggest world leading music brand, Universal Music Group(UMG).
The mega deal was announced on July 17 at the launch of the new Pan-African division office of Universal Music Group in Lagos,Nigeria.
Born Livingstone Etse Satekla, the “Bawasaaba” hitmaker, who is currently promoting his latest Epistles of Mama album in Europe, is the latest member of the growing African wing of the UMG.
In a tweet from the international Reggae/Afro Dancehall act Stonebwoy, has confirmed and cleared the air concerning the news that he has signed on a new record deal with Universal Music Group.

Also signed to the Universal Music Group record label from Africa are Nigerian artistes WurlD, Odunsi (the Engine), Tay Iwar, Mr Eazi and Tekno; Tanzanian singer and songwriter Vanessa Mdee; and Ghanaian soul singer, Cina Soul.
Universal Music Group’s new division sited in Lagos is aimed at extending support to artistes throughout the continent and beyond.
The Universal Music Group would also capitalize on its global networks for wider discovery, marketing, promotion and distribution to grow in Africa.
Currently, Stonebwoy is in Jamaica readying himself to rock the Reggae Sumfest Concert,as part of his EOM World Tour.
